Seasonal Forklift Operator Edmonton

We are currently seeking a dependable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to support a busy production environment during peak season. This is a full time seasonal opportunity expected to last approximately 2–3 months, starting next Wednesday. The role is on-site in Nisku. This is a very active, hands-on role that involves constant movement throughout the shift. The successful candidate will be supporting the production line by moving finished products, wrapping pallets, and ensuring product flow remains productive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. What You’ll Be Doing Safely operate a forklift throughout the production and warehouse areas Move finished product pallets from the production line to staging areas Frequently get on and off the forklift to assist with wrapping, checks, and line support Operate automatic stretch wrapping equipment Ensure pallets are wrapped correctly, labelled accurately, and staged properly Support production flow and help minimize downtime Maintain a clean and safe work environment Communicate effectively with production staff and supervisors Follow all workplace safety procedures and forklift operating standards What We’re Looking For Previous forklift experience in a fast-paced production or warehouse environment. (must have proof of certification) Comfortable with repetitive movement and physically active work throughout an 8+ hour shift Strong attention to detail and awareness of surroundings Ability to multitask and stay productive in a busy workplace Reliable transportation and strong attendance Able to work independently with minimal supervision Clear English communication skills Experience with stretch wrapping equipment is considered an asset Position Details Short-term seasonal contract (estimated 2–3 months) Full-time hours, 40+ hours per week Schedule: Wednesday to Sunday Shift: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM At Aplin — together with our brands CompuStaff, Impact Recruitment, and Vantix Systems — we connect great people with great organizations across North America.
