Experienced General Labourer/carpenter Edmonton

Experienced General Labourer/Carpenter RBKS Construction Ltd. - Edmonton, AB RBKS Construction Ltd. Is seeking a full time General Labourer/Carpenter for both Commercial and Residential projects. Responsibilities include general labour, site maintenance, and other related duties. All work to be performed under the direct supervision of a Site Foreman. Responsibilities: · Carry out general labour tasks as required · Keep sites free of garbage and other debris · Carry out ongoing safety protocols (PPE Compliance, signage.) · Install and adjust perimeter fencing for protection of pedestrian and vehicle traffic, workers onsite, and general public · Report project progress to Site Foreman · Assist to ensure sites are secured at end of day · Assist Site Foreman with day-to-day activities as required Other responsibilities likely to be added as candidate gains experience and familiarity with company. Qualifications: · Able to assist in the demolishing of buildings, cleaning debris from construction sites, directing traffic at a construction site, and various other tasks · Able to lift up to 50LBS · Bondable · Must have your own steel toed safety boots · Able to work in a rapid-paced setting with tight deadlines · Able to handle a variety of tasks some of which are repetitive · Able to carry out physically demanding tasks · Able to work at heights, outdoors, and confined spaces · Able to problem solve, work well with others, plan and organize a task, learn continuously, and have strong communication skills · Able to work overtime, days, evenings, and weekends · Must have a valid drivers’ license and be able to submit a clean driver’s abstract · Must have reliable transportation For more information about what we do, please visit our RBKS Construction Instagram Account where many projects and avenues of our business are displayed! @rbksconstruction Job Types: Full time, Permanent Education: AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred) Experience: Construction: 2 years (required) Licence/Certification: Class 5 Licence (required) Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2p5hty
