ASI works with a large network of airlines, including several dedicated freighter operators, to facilitate the movement of cargo to virtually any international destination.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Edmonton, AB for an Air Cargo Operations professional. The position involves managing the day-to-day operations of cargo, including coordinating air cargo shipments, managing booking processes, coordinating with airports and carriers, and handling documentation. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with freight forwarding clients and airline partners to ensure a high level of customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in air cargo operations
• Knowledge of IATA, ICAO, and TSA regulations and requirements
• Experience with Cargo Management Systems, and other supply chain software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with freight forwarding clients and airline partners
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to find efficient and cost-effective solutions
• Detail-oriented individual with the ability to analyze data and perform root cause analysis
