About the Role

We are seeking a Research Analyst to support a diverse portfolio of projects across public policy, evaluation, and market research. The role involves contributing across the full research process, from design and data collection to analysis and reporting, while working closely with team members and clients.

This role is well suited to someone who is curious, adaptable, and interested in developing in a client-facing, consulting environment. It requires the ability to work across multiple projects, engage with different stakeholders, and produce rigorous, high-quality analysis. Must be located in Edmonton or Toronto (Hybrid with minimum of three times a week in person).

What You'll Do

• Conduct research and analysis, including literature reviews, jurisdictional scans, and systematic synthesis of qualitative and quantitative data
• Support data collection through surveys, focus groups, and key informant interviews, ensuring consistency and quality in execution
• Develop research tools such as survey instruments and interview guides, aligned with project objectives and methodological considerations
• Prepare clear, evidence-based reports, presentations, and briefing materials for clients
• Manage and prioritize work across multiple projects with evolving timelines
• Contribute to proposals, background research, and other business development activities
• Participate in client and stakeholder meetings, contributing to discussions and interpretation of findings

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in public policy, economics, business, social sciences, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in research, evaluation, consulting, or a related analytical role
• Strong analytical thinking, with the ability to assess information critically and synthesize findings from multiple sources
• Ability to produce rigorous, evidence-based analysis that is clear, defensible, and relevant to client needs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize qualitative information and interpret quantitative findings to produce clear, accessible insights
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-driven environment
• Curiosity, sound judgment, and a willingness to learn across different subject areas
• French/English bilingualism is an asset

Compensation

$58,000-$70,000 annually, commensurate with experience
