Warehouse Associate (Edmonton)

Overview: Inland Industrial Supply is a Canadian-owned company that distributes well-known industrial tools, equipment, and personal protective gear. We also offer services for equipment inspection, repairs, cleaning, recertification, assembly and rentals. Under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager, this individual will assist with receiving and warehouse duties included in the job requirements. We are looking for an individual who has impeccable attention to detail, is highly motivated, eager to learn, good problem-solving skills and is a reliable team player. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Load and unload trucks - Receive incoming shipments and check for damage or discrepancies. - Verify incoming product against purchase orders for correct part numbers and quantities. - Maintain accurate records for all items received. - Enter received product into inventory management system. - Distribute product to designated areas or departments within the building. - Operate forklift and other material handling equipment safely. - Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation. - Ensure safe handling of materials and maintain a clean work environment. - Other duties as required. Qualifications and Minimum Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Basic knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics. - Previous experience in a Distribution Centre or Warehouse environment. - Forklift Certification (preferred, or willingness to obtain). - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with coworkers and management. - Able to work in a rapid-paced environment and multi-task. - Ability to lift and carry heavy items up to 50lbs.
