They should possess problem-solving skills, a can‑do attitude, and a commitment to continuous improvement. - At least five years of experience managing construction projects that exceed $20 million. Multi‑family wood frame construction experience is considered an asset. - Solid desire to learn and grow. - Possess computer skills and be willing to learn new software as required. Knowledge of Procore Project Management software would be considered an asset. - Having a PMP designation would also be an asset. - Sound knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and construction best practices. - Familiarity with safe work procedures, safety regulations, and having a valid first aid ticket would be considered an asset. You will... - As the project leader, you will be responsible and accountable for the overall success of the project. This includes planning, organizing, overseeing, and controlling the work of the direct team members, trade contractors, materials, and equipment. - Your objective is to deliver projects on time, on budget, and at a high level of quality. - You must maintain and promote a workplace culture committed to safety. - You will collaborate with the project team to establish and manage budgets, schedules, and project plans. - Your contributions will be valuable in making decisions related to the development and implementation of construction methodology and design. - You will also be involved in negotiations and procurement of trade contracts, sourcing, and procurement of materials and equipment. Additional Information You must be legally eligible to work in Canada (e.g., be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada, or possess a valid work permit) and provide a satisfactory Criminal Background Check.
