We are seeking a Procurement Student for our PCL Industrial Management Inc. district within our Canadian Industrial Division. The position is available for 8 months starting in September 2026 and will be under the direct supervision of the District Procurement Manager. Responsibilities - Sourcing materials, services and equipment as directed and in accordance with policy and procedures. - Identifying and selecting vendors to purchase requisitioned commodities, meeting criteria such as price, quantity, quality, safety, and delivery date. - Expediting orders. - Shipping and receiving. - Maintaining inventory levels and records. - Preparing procurement reports and documentation as required. - Providing equipment administration support. - Practicing PCL safety practices. - Assisting in all aspects, as is reasonably available, of procurement & equipment management activities. Qualifications - Currently enrolled in a Supply Chain Management or Operations Management specialization in a post-secondary institution. - Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment. - Strong attention to detail and time management skills. - Maintains a positive working relationship with co‑workers. - Ability to perform multiple projects effectively in a fast‑paced, results‑oriented environment. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
