Line Cook (Edmonton)

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities - Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards - Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment - Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety regulations and sanitation standards - Serve dishes promptly and courteously to guests, ensuring a positive dining experience - Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours - Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management Qualifications - Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred - Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods - Understanding of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail - Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities - Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings as needed - Passion for the food industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals This position provides an excellent platform for individuals eager to grow their culinary skills within a professional setting.
