Join the Taste of Edmonton team as an Event Coordinator focused on social media. This in-person role requires event planning skills, social media marketing, and logistical coordination for festival activities. Reporting to the Director of Festival Operations, you will coordinate social media content and event programming. Your responsibilities include budget management, on-site logistics, and communication with stakeholders such as vendors and festival attendees. Experience with Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud is beneficial, as you'll craft marketing materials to enhance festival visibility. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and manage event marketing strategies - Coordinate social media content creation and future planning - Execute in office event logistics during the festival - Manage vendor communications and inquiries - Create marketing copy and presentation materials Requirements: - Post-secondary education in marketing or related fields - Strong relationship-building skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs - Valid driver's license and local residency in Edmonton Enhance your event planning and social media skills with the Taste of Edmonton this summer.
