Class 3 Driver (Edmonton)

Overview Davidson Powerline Construction seeking a reliable and skilled Class 3 Dump truck driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting construction materials safely and efficiently across designated routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle heavy equipment. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of service. Responsibilities - Operate commercial vehicles to transport goods and materials to various locations. - Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. - Operating dump trucks to transport materials lose materials such as sand , gravel and dirt from construction sites - Communicate team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transit. - Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on the vehicle to ensure optimal performance. - Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road. Qualifications - Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required, Class 3 - Knowledge of construction safety , and proven experience operating a standard dump truck - Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, is preferred. - Basic knowledge of automotive repair is a plus, enabling you to perform minor repairs as needed. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. - Excellent time management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines while ensuring safety standards are met.
