About Us Smoke’s Poutinerie Edmonton is on a mission to serve legendary Canadian poutine with fresh-cut fries, squeaky cheese curds, and house-made gravy We’re looking for someone who can take orders with a smile! What You’ll Be Doing - Greet customers warmly and take orders via POS (in-store + Skip/Uber/DoorDash). - Assist guests with menu questions — ingredients, allergens, vegetarian & gluten-free options. - Prepare and assemble poutines and fryer items (we’ll teach you everything!). - Blanch, fry & portion fresh-cut fries according to brand standards. - Handle transactions accurately, including cash and digital payments. - Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following Alberta Health & Safety protocols. - Wash dishes, wipe surfaces, restock supplies, and ensure the restaurant stays in tip-top shape. - Collaborate with teammates to open and/or close the store. - Address customer concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude. What We’re Looking For - Friendly, outgoing, and great with people (even during rush hour!). - Willing to learn — no kitchen experience required if you’re coachable. - Can stay calm, focused, and upbeat in a fast-paced environment. - Team player with good communication and work ethic. - Able to work evenings and weekends (this is when the fun happens!).
