Description
Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our manufacturing facility's maintenance functions. The ideal candidate will lead a team of technicians, coordinate maintenance projects, and ensure the reliable operation of all plant equipment. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and project management skills to maintain safety, efficiency, and compliance within the manufacturing workplace. Responsibilities - Lead and supervise the maintenance team to ensure timely and effective repair and preventive maintenance of all machinery and equipment. - Develop and implement maintenance strategies utilizing CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders, inventory, and maintenance history. - Manage maintenance projects, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and execution to minimize downtime. - Oversee electrical systems, HVAC units, low voltage systems, and mechanical equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and schematics. - Troubleshoot complex issues involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical systems, and mechanical components. - Coordinate with production departments to plan maintenance activities around production schedules to reduce operational disruptions. - Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements related to industrial maintenance. - Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and upgrades. - Manage spare parts inventory and procurement processes to ensure availability of critical components. Requirements - Proven management experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting with supervising responsibilities. - Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. - Extensive knowledge of industrial maintenance practices including electrical experience, HVAC systems, PLCs, schematics interpretation, and low voltage systems. - Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and asset tracking. - Mechanical knowledge sufficient to diagnose issues across various equipment types. - Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team of technicians. - Effective communication skills in English for clear reporting and team coordination. - Prior experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
