Logistics Coordinator (Garside Industrial) (Edmonton)

Key Responsibilities - Coordinate, assign, and dispatch drivers for scheduled pickups and deliveries. - Maintain continuous communication with drivers, brokers, and customers to ensure smooth load execution. - Track freight movement, driver progress, and load status in real time. - Monitor hours of service, routes, and compliance requirements. - Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve delays or operational issues. - Accurately record load details, rates, driver information, and dispatch notes. - Negotiate freight rates and load terms with brokers when required. - Ensure all dispatch activities comply with DOT regulations and company standards. - Provide operational support outside regular business hours, including evenings and weekends. - Maintain proper records and paperwork. - Expected to have an adaptable work schedule over weekends and evenings.
