Description
We are looking for a Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee day-to-day maintenance operations at our site. This role combines hands-on technical work with team coordination, ensuring services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with contract requirements. You will act as the primary point of contact for maintenance activities in office, supporting your team while maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. What will you do? - Lead and support a team of maintenance staff, providing guidance, direction, and day-to-day coordination - Perform and oversee preventative and corrective maintenance on building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, general repairs) - Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies and OH&S; standards - Coordinate work orders, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely completion - Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams on maintenance activities and service requests - Monitor site conditions and proactively identify maintenance needs - Support reporting requirements, including logs, inspections, and compliance documentation - Assist with onboarding and training of team members Who are we? What are we looking for? - 5+ years of maintenance experience in commercial, industrial, or facilities environments - Previous experience leading or supervising a team (formal or informal) - Strong troubleshooting skills across multiple trades (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, general maintenance) - Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment - Strong communication and organizational skills - Comfortable using systems for work orders and reporting - Valid driver’s license Nice to Have: - Trade certification (e.g., Electrician, HVAC, Power Engineer, or equivalent) - Experience in facilities management or service-based environments Working Conditions - Combination of hands-on work and administrative coordination - May require on-call support depending on site requirements - Work performed in indoor and outdoor environments Be part of the change and join Edon Management at an exciting time.
