We are now recruiting for a permanent Maintenance Millwright / Journey Person at our manufacturing facility in Surrey. The successful candidate will have open availability and be available to work 10 hour shifts from Monday to Thursday. Shift times are to be determined - candidates must be available for day or night shifts. These are considered fulltime, permanent positions that include company-provided dental and healthcare benefits. This position is covered under a Collective Agreement. Red Seal Maintenance Millwrights / Journey Persons can expect a starting wage of $46.45/hour,* with a cost of living increase in the new year.* Employees may be required to work flexible hours, including weekends. QUALIFICATIONS - Certified red seal is an asset - Physically capable to perform medium to heavy lifting up to 50lbs - High degree of accuracy and attention to detail - The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, and be competent in math and numeric comprehension - Excellent attendance and work record Only those most suitable will be contacted for interviews.
