Recreation Assistant in Alberta, Edmonton

In this role, you will report to the Recreation Manager and collaborate on designing and delivering therapeutic programs tailored to individual needs. Your responsibilities will include assessing residents, implementing activities, and ensuring a high standard of care. Your work promotes dignity and independence in our Independent and Assisted Living communities.

Key Responsibilities:• Develop and deliver person-centred recreation programs. • Assist in planning engaging recreational activities. • Collaborate on resident profiles and assessments. • Monitor resident progress for program placement. • Maintain accurate documentation of resident activities.

Requirements:• Completion of a recreation program is an asset. • One year of experience in recreation programming. • Active CPR and First Aid certification required. • Ability to work collaboratively within a team. • Flexibility to handle various shifts effectively.
