Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Hand to oversee landscape construction projects, ensuring high-quality standards and effective operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, hands-on experience in paving stone, retaining walls, fencing, general landscape construction and the ability to supervise a team effectively. This role offers an opportunity to lead diverse projects within a energetic environment, contributing to the beautification and sustainability of outdoor spaces. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily landscape construction projects Lead a team of workers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure safety and productivity Assist with construction-related tasks such as site preparation and installation of landscape features Monitor project progress, ensuring work is completed on time and according to specifications Maintain quality control standards across all projects and ensure compliance with safety regulations Communicate effectively with clients and team members to coordinate schedules and project requirements Experience Supervising or leadership experience in outdoor or construction environments is highly desirable Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively, motivate staff, and enforce safety protocols Familiarity with construction processes related to outdoor environments is a plus This position requires a proactive leader with technical expertise in landscape-related fields who can manage teams efficiently while delivering exceptional outdoor spaces.
