Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent food handling skills, and experience in a rapid-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and standards Cook and assemble dishes efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment Assist with food plating, garnishing, and portion control Maintain proper storage of ingredients and supplies, ensuring freshness and safety Support the kitchen team during busy hours, helping with cleaning, organizing, and other duties as needed Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health regulations and safety protocols Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling practices Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a quick-paced setting Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety standards Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration Basic knowledge of serving practices is a plus but not required This role is vital for delivering exceptional dining experiences through quality food preparation and service.
