Infant & Toddler Educator With 3+ Years Of Experience Cloverdale

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Infant & Toddler Educator to join our team. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans based on children’s interests and developmental needs Create a secure, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that supports social, emotional, and cognitive growth Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs, including children requiring additional support Maintain accurate records of children’s development and daily activities Collaborate with team members to plan and implement curriculum and classroom activities Use positive guidance strategies to support children’s behavior and development Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, health and safety protocols, and centre policies Maintain a clean, organized, and well-prepared classroom setting Wage & Benefits Starting from $23/hour + ECE Wage Enhancement (WE) (Wage is negotiable based on experience and qualifications) Requirements Valid BC Infant & Toddler Educator (IT) Certificate (required) Valid Emergency Child Care First Aid & CPR Certification Transparent Criminal Record Check (CRC) Minimum 1–3+ years of experience working with infants and/or toddlers in a licensed childcare setting Robust communication skills in English (French is an asset) Knowledge of early childhood development and play-based learning approaches Experience working with children with additional needs is an asset Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment Physically able to lift and carry children (up to 15–20 kg), bend, and perform daily childcare routines Professional, reliable, and patient demeanor Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour Benefits: Casual dress Dental care Extended health care In office parking Vision care Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2p9oae
