Job Overview We have an exciting opportunity for a Construction Site Cleaner to join Empire Envelope in Edmonton, AB. You ensure construction sites are left clean, safe, you complete required safety documentation, maintain proper equipment, and perform thorough construction site cleanup.

Responsibilities

Completing all hazard forms for each job.

Being visible on site and ensuring hard hats and steel toes are worn.

Verifying all required tools and supplies are gathered prior to leaving the office and are brought to each job.

Cutting and removing all poly from exterior walls, and tubs/showers.

Scraping and sweeping all floors to remove any taping mud/texture material, and dust.

Removing all Empire Envelope related garbage from site.

Vacuuming all floors as required.

Wiping down all ledges, and windowsills.

Removing any garbage, and wiping down all tubs, and showers.

Representing Empire Envelope when dealing with builders, homeowners, and trades, and upholding and protecting our high-quality standards and ensuring that all work performed meets or exceeds these standards.

Completion of middle school, must be able to read and write and perform basic math.

Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle.

Satisfactory verification of criminal record check

Physically able to kneel and crouch as well as lift, carry, push or pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

Comfortable working with Microsoft Office programs (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint)

Working Conditions You primarily work on site during regular business hours. Work has exposure to noise from equipment/machinery, occupational hazards, and deals with inclement weather and dust. Overtime may occasionally be required.
