Fire Protection Designer in Edmonton

You will design fire suppression, alarm, and emergency lighting systems while ensuring compliance with relevant codes. Key Responsibilities:• Ensure design compliance with fire safety codes and standards • Design and specify fire protection systems accurately • Prepare engineering drawings and specifications for projects • Review client specifications for fire protection requirements • Write technical reports to support design submissions

Requirements:• University degree in Fire Protection or Mechanical Engineering • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in commercial design • Familiarity with NFPA and other fire codes • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and HydroCAD • Strong communication skills for effective project coordination
