Overview We are seeking a skilled and versatile Part-Time Carpenter subcontractor to join our team. This role involves working on various in home storage system installations, providing expert craftsmanship, and supporting project completion with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, woodworking, and related trades, capable of interpreting schematics and working independently or as part of a team. This position offers flexible scheduling for experienced professionals looking to contribute their expertise on a contractual basis. Responsibilities - Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute projects accurately - Install cabinets and organization systems with attention to detail - Conduct restoration work, including drywall repair, painting, caulking, and general finishing - Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various carpentry tasks - Measure, cut, assemble, and install woodwork or other materials according to project specifications - Support heavy lifting and material handling to ensure safety standards are maintained - Follow construction estimating guidelines to ensure project scope aligns with client expectations - Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols Experience - Proven experience in carpentry, woodworking, or related construction trades - Familiarity with blueprint and schematics reading - Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, table saws, and other construction equipment - Knowledge of restoration techniques and handyman services is advantageous - Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various settings - Strong understanding of safety standards related to work sites and building codes Benefits - Flexible Scheduling: You will have the flexibility to schedule installations on days that work best for you.
