Service Advisor / Front Desk – PowerHouse Machining LTD Location: Edmonton, AB Job Type: Full-Time About Us PowerHouse Machining LTD is an Engine remanufacturing machine shop specializing in high-quality engine builds, machining, and performance parts. We work with everything from daily drivers to high-horsepower race engines, and we take pride in precision, customer service, and results. We’re growing and looking for a motivated, organized, and customer-focused individual to join our team at the service desk. Position Overview As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a key role in delivering a professional and efficient experience. You’ll be responsible for handling incoming calls and emails, coordinating jobs, ordering parts, and helping guide customers toward the right services for their needs. Key Responsibilities - Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer inquiries - Manage emails and customer communication in a timely manner - Create and manage work orders - Order parts and coordinate with suppliers - Provide service recommendations based on customer needs - Communicate with technicians and machinists to ensure smooth workflow - Follow up with customers on job status and completion - Maintain organized records and job tracking Qualifications - Previous experience in automotive service advising, parts, or a related role is an asset - Strong communication and customer service skills - Basic knowledge of engines and automotive systems (performance knowledge is a bonus) - Highly organized with attention to detail - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting - Comfortable using computers, shop management software, and email systems - Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset What We Offer - Competitive hourly wage (based on experience) - Opportunity to work in a high-performance, enthusiast-driven environment - Growth opportunities within the company - Supportive and skilled team Who You Are You’re someone who enjoys working with people, understands the automotive world, and can keep things organized under pressure.
