General Maintenance Technician II (Edmonton)

Equation Staffing is currently seeking a skilled and dependable General Maintenance Technician II to join our clients team within a healthcare environment in Edmonton AB. This role plays an important part in ensuring the facility remains safe, functional, and comfortable for residents, staff, and visitors. Wage: $27.00 $30.00 per hour. Status: Full time | Day Shift (9:00 AM 5:00 PM). Position Summary: While working under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, the General Maintenance Technician II will perform daily building maintenance duties including, but not limited to: Plumbing leaks and stoppages. Lighting repairs and replacements. Minor electrical replacements. Minor heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) troubleshooting and reporting. Structural component repairs (carpentry). Painting. Furniture assembly and repair. General maintenance duties as required. Qualifications: 2+ years of building maintenance experience (healthcare or assisted living preferred). Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry. Ability to troubleshoot and complete minor repairs independently. Strong organizational and time management skills. WHMIS certification (or willingness to obtain). Valid drivers license considered an asset. Must be up to date on COVID-19 vaccinations. Ability to pass a Vulnerable Sector Check.
