Your Chance Our Edmonton office has an chance for a Civil EIT to join our group and help to support and grow our Water business. You should be able to evaluate, select, specify, and engineer systems or products for a project. You will perform a variety of tasks which may include calculations, report writing, field work, coordination of simple tasks, and meeting attendance and recording. In general, your role will involve assisting more senior engineers/designers by performing the routine aspects of civil engineering assignments. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks Your Key Responsibilities Support multi-disciplinary municipal civil projects, related to recent build and infrastructure renewal. Undertake detailed studies and design tasks associated with water related projects including site civil, conveyance, and water resources projects. Perform project administration, including coordination of and preparing reports, gathering information, drafting proposals, drafting correspondence, completing progress reports, and assisting in project management. Write reports and design briefs. Take responsibility for the quality of your written, technical and graphic work, and for completing work on time and on budget. Coordinate design drawing and specification development. Attend internal, client, and contactor meetings and document the meetings with minutes. Contract Administration as required for a wide variety of construction projects. Assist with site visits and field investigations as necessary. Perform other duties as required.
