Senior Civil Engineer, Water and Sewage Systems (Relocation Assistance to Campbell River, BC) Base salary CA$120,000.00/yr – CA$150,000.00/yr About the Opportunity J.E. Anderson & Associates is looking for a full‑time Senior Civil Engineer based in Campbell River, BC. Reporting to the management and partnership team, you will co‑lead the Campbell River office and provide expert guidance on sewage and water system design across projects on Vancouver Island. Responsibilities - Co‑lead day‑to‑day operations of the Campbell River office alongside a skilled surveyor - Design sewage and water systems, including community‑scale and advanced treatment systems - Manage land development projects including rural subdivisions, site servicing, and frontage improvements - Lead project proposals, cost estimates, reports, and scheduling - Support and mentor junior engineers, EITs, and technical staff - Collaborate with teams in Nanaimo, Parksville, and Victoria on multidisciplinary projects - Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure quality project delivery - Contribute to client relationship development and business growth initiatives About You To qualify, you will need to be a Professional Civil Engineer in valuable standing with, or eligible for registration with, Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC) and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. A minimum of five years of experience designing sewage and water systems, along with some team leadership and/or project management experience, will also be essential.
