Delivery Driver Edmonton

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and motivated Class 5 Commercial Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the loading, transporting and unloading tires from various locations in the greater Edmonton area while ensuring timely, protected delivery and operation. This role requires a robust commitment to customer service and the ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively. The Ideal candidate will have experience in operating various types of vehicles and equipment. Responsibilities Manage delivery & pick up routes so they proceed in the most efficient way possible Find ways to conserve resources, including fuel, to benefit the business and the workplace Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle and report any problems or damage to management Comply with all government and in-house regulations and rules Display professionalism, punctuality and demonstrate an industrious work ethic Qualifications Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s license and a clean driver's abstract 1+ years’ commercial driving experience using a 5-Ton truck & operating a hydraulic deck an asset. Have an above average knowledge of the City of Edmonton Have a positive attitude and professional demeanor Be physically fit, have a high level of stamina / energy, and able to consistently lift 50lbs Willing to work Saturdays in peak season Carry a great attitude and like working in a team environment Have experience working with a small team. Experience working with tires is a bonus! Must be 21 yrs of age for insurance purposes.
