Job Summary Join our energetic construction team as a Heavy Equipment Operator, where your expertise will drive the success of diverse projects. In this role, you will operate a variety of heavy machinery to facilitate excavation, grading, material transport, and site development. Your mechanical knowledge and construction site experience will ensure safe, efficient, and precise operation of equipment such as bulldozers, loaders, excavators, and trucks. Duties Operate heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators and other construction machinery to perform site preparation, grading, excavation, and material handling. Safely maneuver and control various trucks such as front loader trucks, dump trucks Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs promptly. Follow all safety protocols and construction standards to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members. Collaborate with project managers and crew members to coordinate tasks efficiently and meet project deadlines. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, inspections, and operational logs throughout each shift. Able to work out of town rotation Able to respond to emergency calls Skills Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation. Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic issues and perform routine maintenance on machinery. Valid commercial driver’s license with experience operating various trucks Ability to read interpret safety instructions & locates effectively Strong commitment to safety standards and ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented setting.
