You will guide the team, ensure a unique and inclusive customer experience, and oversee daily retail operations while exceeding sales targets. Responsibilities Recruit, train, and develop a diverse team while fostering staff growth and engagement. Sales & Customer Experience Collaborate with the team to exceed daily sales goals and provide a welcoming environment for every visitor. Educate customers and staff on brand values—fighting animal testing, freshest cosmetics, ethical buying, 100% vegetarian, handmade, and naked packaging. Increase product knowledge and recommend products based on customer needs. Develop and execute business plans that align with company strategy to improve KPIs and achieve sales goals. Team Leadership Coach and develop staff through leadership practices and constructive feedback. Commit to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging through DEIB training, initiatives, and mentorship. Address performance concerns with empathy, creating action plans to improve engagement. Recruit and select staff, ensuring inclusive hiring practices and opportunities for advancement. Operational Excellence Maintain shop compliance, training, and adherence to standards for time, attendance, health and safety, and respectful workplace. Manage stock, inventory, and ordering to keep the right products available and reduce waste within budget. Execute merchandising and visual plans to create a clean, beautiful customer experience. Schedule staff effectively, balancing labor budget while ensuring breaks and meal periods. Qualifications Required 3‑5 years managing in a retail setting. Strong HR skills in hiring, scheduling, training, conflict resolution, and performance management. Excellent listening, communication, analytical, critical‑thinking, and troubleshooting skills. Excellent organization and time‑management skills. Solid customer service, supervisory, and sales abilities. Knowledge and interest in skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business. Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes holidays, evenings, and weekends. Preferred Experience with consultation‑based customer service models. Ability to develop and train staff through positive coaching and feedback. Track record of advancing retail staff careers. Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office, and adaptability to other systems. Experience in cross‑cultural collaboration and DEIB or social‑justice training. Fluency in Spanish, French, or another language. Location: Kingsway Garden. Pay: $61,050—$61,050 CAD.
