You are a seasoned Superintendent with 7+ years of field operations experience on multi-disciplinary, large-scale construction projects. You will be responsible for the smooth, day‑to‑day management of field activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, on budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Essential Responsibilities
Oversee staff to ensure the successful delivery of construction projects to completion. Promote the overall site safety program, ensuring subcontractor compliance with Ledcor standards, the Health Safety and Environmental Plan (HSE Plan), and all applicable OH&S acts, regulations, and codes. Ensure that field staff are equipped with the resources required to efficiently complete projects according to approved plans, specifications, and applicable building codes. Actively participate in the pre‑bid and preconstruction process regarding site layout, logistics, scheduling, and workforce planning. Review and maintain the project schedule, ensuring milestones are met, identifying scheduling issues and delays, and leading solution development. Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients/consultants. Support and promote Ledcor’s core values of safety, quality, integrity, sustainability, and success. Manage hourly employees as required, including forepersons, carpenters, and labour staff. Qualifications
7+ years of construction experience in a Superintendent position. Experience with residential or commercial projects. Combination of work experience in a similar role and industry‑related trade certification or education. Expertise in safety within the organization and knowledge of OH&S and environmental standards and regulations. Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, and the ability to work with senior management. Strong technical knowledge of modern construction practices, documents, drawings, schedules, technologies, equipment, industry practices, and contract negotiations. Working Conditions
Site‑based position in Edmonton, AB. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license. Must successfully pass a drug and alcohol test. Benefits
