Electrical Engineer - Data Center Focus (Edmonton)

Lead innovative electrical designs at Silent-Aire, tailoring solutions for data centers and HVAC systems. This role emphasizes project leadership and compliance within a team-driven workplace.

As a key component of Silent-Aires engineering team, your role as an Electrical Engineer will focus on designing and optimizing electrical systems for data center applications. Under senior managements guidance, you’ll be responsible for leading projects, ensuring adherence to codes, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Your leadership will also extend to mentoring junior staff members.

Key Responsibilities: • Design custom electrical solutions for data center projects • Ensure project deliverables are met on time and within scope • Review and prepare engineering change requests and documentation • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success • Promote continuous improvement practices across all design activities

Requirements: • Degree in Electrical Engineering and P.Eng. certification • 2-6 years of related experience in electrical design • Understanding of electrical codes applicable to design work • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities • Willingness to travel for inspections and testing
