Program Overview: Ready to Serve (RTS)
A 16‑week employment training program focused on the food and service industries. Themed workshops tailored to service‑sector roles Four‑week paid work‑based learning Post‑work‑based learning support Up to 8 weeks of work maintenance and follow‑up Five cohorts (30 participants each) running from August2026 to March2028.Renews Program: RENU
A 16‑week employment readiness program targeting Business Administration, IT, and Human Services. Group learning and reflection sessions Individualized support and one‑on‑one coaching Work‑based learning experience Optional targeted paid work exposure for participants needing additional supportEight cohorts (25 participants each) running from August2026 to March2029. Job Summary– Program Coordination&Cohort Delivery
Coordinate day‑to‑day operations of RTS and RENU program cohorts. Ensure smooth delivery of workshops, coaching sessions, and work‑based learning placements. Monitor participant progress, attendance, and engagement, ensuring timely follow‑ups. Support the Program Manager with scheduling, planning, andimplementation of program activities.Ensure program delivery aligns with funder requirements, timelines, and quality standards. Support program evaluation and continuous improvement initiatives. Staff Supervision&Team Development
Provide daily supervision, coaching, and operational guidance to Employment Counsellors, Program Instructors, WBL Support Coordinators, and Program Assistants. Support staff in managing participant cases and workplace conflict resolution. Coordinate staff schedules, workflows, and communication across program components.Assist with onboarding and training of new staff. Escalate performance or disciplinary concerns to the Program Manager as needed. Participant Support&Case Management
Provide advanced coaching to participants with complex needs or barriers. Support staff in developing individualized action plans and employment pathways. Troubleshoot issues that arise during work‑based learning placements. Ensure participants receive consistent, trauma‑informed, and culturally responsive support.Work‑Based Learning&Employer Coordination
Oversee operational aspects of work‑based learning placements. Support WBL staff in conducting site visits, collecting employer feedback, and resolving workplace issues. Coordinate with Job Developers and the Program Manager to ensure placement readiness and alignment. Support employer participation in graduation ceremonies, appreciation events, and feedback processes.Reporting, Documentation&Quality Assurance
Ensure accurate and timely completion of participant records, attendance, follow‑ups, and outcome tracking. Review documentation from staff for completeness and quality before submission to the Program Manager. Support data collection for reporting, evaluation, and quality assurance activities.Ensure staff follow agency policies, procedures, and funder requirements. What This Job Requires
Bachelor’s Degree
in Social Sciences, Human Services, Adult Education, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in employment programs, workforce development, or adult education. Experience supervising or coordinating staff in a fast‑paced environment. Experience providing coaching, case management, or group facilitation.Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered. A reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, and third‑party liability insurance (minimum two million). Police information check including vulnerable sector search, and intervention record check current within six (6) months.Summary of driving record with no more than six (6) demerit points current within one (1) year. Required 2 years of driving experience. Skills&Competencies
Strong leadership, coaching, and team‑coordination abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain program flow across cohorts. Solid problem‑solving skills, especially in complex participant or workplace situations. High level of organization, attention to detail,and documentation accuracy.Commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and trauma‑informed practice. What We Offer
