Science Educator for Home Education Program, Edmonton

This 0.15 FTE role starts on August 26, 2026, focusing on a shared responsibility program that includes Science and other subjects. The successful educator will hold a Bachelor of Education, valid Teaching Certificate, and possess a strong commitment to Christian values and home education. Your skills in lesson planning and technology will be crucial.

Key Responsibilities:• Collaborate with the principal and staff for program success • Design interactive lessons and projects for students • Maintain academic records and provide progress reports • Foster communication with parents regarding educational needs • Participate in community events and school activities

Requirements:• Bachelor of Education degree and Alberta Teaching Certificate • Experience in elementary education, especially Science • Strong dedication to supporting home education • Professional demeanor and conduct • Knowledge of Google Suite applications
