As a Senior Engineer specializing in Power Distribution Systems, you’ll drive engineering excellence and oversee innovative utility solutions. This full time, permanent position involves mentoring Engineers in Training and collaborating across departments to enhance project delivery and compliance. You will ensure adherence to EPCOR’s engineering standards and provide technical guidance on complex distribution systems. Key Responsibilities: • Lead engineering design and authentication for Downtown Distribution systems • Provide technical insights for utility infrastructure projects • Set project priorities and manage work package timelines • Maintain quality through performance metrics and improvements • Ensure compliance with engineering best practices and industry codes Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering • Registered Professional Engineer (P. Eng) with APEGA • 8+ years of engineering experience in distribution systems • Hands-on knowledge of aerial and underground methods • Proficiency in engineering software such as MicroStation Elevate Edmonton’s electrical systems with your expertise in distribution engineering and project management.
