The Yard Supervisor is responsible to ensure the yard is operating efficiently resulting in a positive customer experience. The Yard Supervisor manages the product flow and arrangement, oversees the customer loading process, and ensures safety is top of mind for all yard employees. Your role - Lead by example, ensuring every customer has a excellent experience - Assist RONA customers to load product into their vehicles - Assist with the daily upkeep of the department by off loading trucks, culling lumber, organizing stock, cleaning, price labelling, & maintaining pallets/stock - Direct, mentor and assist yard team members as needed - Maintain a clean and safe work environment for employees and customers - Opening and closing duties - Maintain 100% commitment to a safe environment Qualifications - Customer service experience - Strong problem solving and time management capabilities - Able to work outside in all conditions - Ability to lead by example and delegate expectations - Detail oriented and robust attention to safe work practices - Excellent listening, communication, and interpersonal skills - Previous lumber and forklift experience a great asset RONA is committed to encouraging diversity and inclusion.
