In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To - Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with laboratory, pharmacy, infection control, nursing management, emergency department, risk management and physician partners within the Acute healthcare market to identify qualified leads, grow market share, and increase revenue while reducing customer attrition. - Drive demand for and adoption of new assays and instrumentation to deliver on quarterly and annual orders and revenue sales targets; improve profit margin on equipment, reagent and service contract sales. - Optimize cycle time by using Salesforce.com (CRM tool) to maintain customer and account activity, map visibility, and prioritize the sales funnel. The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 5+ years of related healthcare sales experience, preferably in laboratory diagnostics; or Master’s degree in a relevant field with 3+ years of related healthcare sales experience, preferably in laboratory diagnostics. - Proven sales success, specifically in selling premium‑priced products. - Experience engaging multiple call points within the hospital, including both laboratory and outside‑of‑laboratory contacts. - Ability to pass vendor credentialing requirements. Travel, Motor Vehicle Record - Ability to travel – 75% travel, overnight, within Canada. - Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: - Proficient use of SalesForce CRM. - Expertise in demand creation for groundbreaking technologies versus replacement technology. The annual salary range for this role is CAD$100,000 to CAD$120,000, and this role is also eligible for sales incentive pay.
