Structural Engineer Technologist (Edmonton)

Job Title Structural Engineering Technologist Location Edmonton / Calgary, AB (Hybrid work options available) Major Responsibilities Conduct structural drafting / 3D BIM for concrete, steel, and wood buildings Prepare finished design drawings from sketches, notes, and details Support package preparation and submission Monitor and document conformance with quality, performance, safety, and code requirements Understand and follow procedures and company policies to meet set results and deadlines Operate engineering project collaboration software platforms (ProjectWise, BIM360, Autodesk Construction Cloud) Self‑check drawings for quality assurance Collaborate in a team‑based environment with colleagues in different disciplines and offices Perform responsibilities under limited supervision Qualifications Minimum Requirements: College diploma in Engineering Technology + 2 (two) years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education Proficient in 3D Revit/BIM drafting Demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education may be considered Preferred Qualifications: EIT, C. Tech or CET designation, or working towards certification Able to develop and advance drawings from conceptual to detailed design stage Positive written and oral communication skills Familiar with software such as: AutoCAD 2015 or later, Autodesk Revit Family/BIM Software and MicroStation V.8 or later Additional Information Sponsorship is not available for this position Relocation is not available for this position Compensation The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
