About The Role As a Program Manager, Wildfire Mitigation, you will lead the planning and delivery of wildfire mitigation programs across electric distribution and transmission systems. Reporting to senior asset management leadership, you will coordinate capital initiatives, operational readiness activities, governance processes, and regulatory support to help reduce wildfire risk and strengthen grid resilience. You will work closely with engineering, operations, maintenance, and external partners to ensure initiatives are well planned, appropriately governed, and effectively delivered. What You Will Do - Lead wildfire mitigation programs across electric distribution and transmission assets - Oversee capital initiatives such as vegetation management, grid hardening, reconductoring, undergrounding, and wildfire related technology deployment - Provide direction and oversight to project managers and cross functional teams - Manage program scope, schedule, risk, and financial performance - Support implementation of operational wildfire mitigation measures, including enhanced protection settings and public safety power shutoffs - Coordinate enabling initiatives such as fire weather tools, monitoring systems, operating procedures, and stakeholder engagement activities - Prepare executive updates, governance documentation, and decision materials - Support regulatory filings and long-term wildfire mitigation planning - Promote safety, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement across all activities What You Bring - A degree in Engineering, technologist diploma, or a related field - Ten or more years of experience in the electric utility or infrastructure sector - Experience leading large scale programs or capital initiatives - Knowledge of electric utility operations; wildfire mitigation experience is an asset - Experience delivering technology enabled initiatives in operational environments - Financial planning and budget management experience - Professional designation such as P.Eng or CMA is considered an asset - Valid Class 5 driver’s licence About Us We are a leading energy provider in North America.
