We're part of an established local landscaping group (Lazy Lawn Alberta and LLS Contracting), which means steady, year-round work — curbing through the summer season and snow removal and related landscaping work over the winter. We're growing, and we're looking for a hands-on Crew Leader to run a three-person crew and own the quality of every job that leaves the trailer. The Role As Crew Leader you'll run the day-to-day on site: operating the curbing machine, prepping ground, mixing and pouring, finishing and sealing, and making sure every curb is straight, clean, and built to last. You'll lead a crew of two, set the pace, and be the face of the company to the homeowner. This is a year-round position — curbing in season, and snow removal and landscaping work in the off-season — so you'll have steady income twelve months a year. What You'll Do - Lead and motivate a 3-person crew on residential curbing jobs - Operate the curb extruding machine and run the full install: layout, ground prep, mixing, pouring, finishing, sealing - Tow and operate the truck and curbing trailer safely between job sites - Own job quality, site cleanup, and the customer experience on every job - Keep production on track and report daily footage installed - Step into off-season snow removal and landscaping work to stay year-round What You Bring - Hands-on experience with concrete, ideally decorative or curbing work - Comfortable and confident towing and operating a truck and trailer - Self-motivated — you don't need someone standing over you to get the job done right - Leadership ability and a solid work ethic; able to set the pace for a crew - Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented with a focus on clean, quality finishes - Valid driver's licence (clean abstract preferred) - Able to work outdoors and perform physical labour through the season What We Offer - $25–$30 per hour, based on experience - Bonus for every linear foot installed — the more your crew produces, the more you earn - Year-round, permanent employment — no winter layoff - Steady work with an established, growing local company - Opportunity to grow as the curbing business scales Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $25.00–$30.00 per hour Additional pay: Per-foot production bonus Schedule: Monday to Friday, with some weekend availability in peak season Work location: In person — Edmonton, AB and surrounding area Experienced concrete and curbing crew leaders are encouraged to apply.
