Journeyman Service Plumber / Gasfitter (Edmonton)

We are a plumbing/gasfitting service company that mainly works out of retail, senior living facilities, apartment and condominium buildings serving the building side of plumbing as well as in-suite work for owners. iMech employees are required to be able to work on their own, with our supplied company vehicle. Large tools are supplied by iMech, ie. drain machines, threaders, cameras … Small hand/power tools to be supplied by worker. Individuals will be responsible for a company vehicle, parking at home and maintaining a great driving record. Individual must speak and write fluent English, communicate well, work well with others, present himself or herself in a clean, neat orderly fashion while at work. iMech’s expectations of our plumbers is to be punctual, clean, honest and respectful to our customers. Communication is key, with management and other team members. iMech has set up a relaxed atmosphere for our employees, making the work environment enjoyable. Compensation will be based on experience. Cellphone provided or reimbursement can made for employees phone use. Annual $2000 Health Spending Account available after 1 year of service. Yearly bonuses paid based on performance. A list of common daily jobs: - Finding and repairing water leaks - Troubleshooting boilers, furnaces or hot water tanks - Performing mechanical room inspections - Changing filters and lubricating equipment - Kitchen sink, bathtub drain cleaning - Rebuilding sink drains with ABS - Main line augering This is not a position for someone who wants to begin in the trade and has no prior plumbing/gasfitting work experience.
