This role is ideal for a professional engineer who is eager to work on diverse and impactful projects within a supportive and dynamic team setting. some typical projects you will work on; - Replacement and upgrade of underground water, sewer, and stormwater infrastructure - Development of water treatment and pumping facilities - Wastewater collection, pumping, and treatment facilities - Infrastructure assessments and studies Does this sound like the right fit for you? Your Contribution: Your main responsibilities - Oversee and manage municipal engineering projects from inception through completion - Perform design, construction site inspections, and contract administration duties - Develop and review engineering design drawings, specifications, and contract documents - Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards - Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success - Coordinate designs and construction inspections with multiple disciplines - Provide mentorship and support to junior engineers and technologists - Apply and promote health and safety rules and comply with MPE's quality procedures. Your Profile: What makes you unique - B.Sc. in Civil Engineering and membership with APEGA - Minimum of 10 years of experience in municipal engineering, with a strong preference for candidates with hands-on experience in construction observation and contract administration - Working knowledge of water and wastewater distribution and collection systems - Proficiency in computer software for modelling and spreadsheet analysis - Demonstrated aptitude for general construction methods - Strong business acumen and understanding of municipal infrastructure projects - Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team atmosphere - Self-motivated with leadership potential - Excellent verbal and written communication skill Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2pt8mu
