Your Opportunity: The team at Tawa Patient Service Centre (PSC), is looking to add a highly engaged, enthusiastic, and outgoing Medical Laboratory Assistant to join our team in this fast-paced, public-facing location. Here you will have the opportunity to work both independently and as a member of our team where you will be responsible for a variety of laboratory functions, including phlebotomy, ECG’s and monitoring wait times to ensure you are providing the best service to your patients. In this role you will be the first contact that patients have with the laboratory. This environment allows you the ability to adapt and work effectively under pressure, utilize time management skills, and prioritize tasks within this ever-changing environment. This is a temporary full-time position, scheduled to work between 0600-1830 on weekdays, as well as every third weekend between 0700-1530.
