Server/Cashier (Angus)

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling food orders and transactions. You will play a vital role in ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests by delivering quality service and maintaining a friendly atmosphere. Duties - Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately. - Process payments using the POS system, ensuring accurate cash handling and basic math calculations. - Prepare food items as needed, adhering to food safety standards and guidelines. - Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, kitchen, and cashier station. - Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order preparation and delivery. - Assist in training new staff members on service standards and procedures as needed. Qualifications - Previous experience in cashiering or food service is preferred but not required. - Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. - Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. - Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. - Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but can be learned on the job. - Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. - A passion for the food industry and commitment to providing high-quality service.
