Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our agile kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking dishes, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety. The position requires a strong focus on food preparation, cooking, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. Responsibilities - Prepare ingredients and components for menu items according to recipes and standards - Cook and assemble dishes in a timely manner, ensuring consistency and quality - Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients - Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols - Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene - Support the kitchen team during busy service hours by efficiently managing multiple tasks - Ensure all food is prepared according to restaurant specifications and presentation standards - Assist in inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of supplies needed Requirements - Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred - Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards - Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment - Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality - Excellent teamwork and communication skills - Food industry experience including meal preparation, serving, or food handling is a plus - Knowledge of health regulations related to food safety is desirable - Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings as needed This role is vital in delivering exceptional dining experiences by ensuring that all dishes are prepared with care, precision, and adherence to safety standards.
