As the successful candidate your main responsibilities will be: Provide basic housekeeping duties including changing the sheets, changing and arranging the towels, restocking toilet supplies, vacuuming, dusting and rearranging the room after guests check out Report and return any guest properties found in the rooms while rendering service Work with a team of housekeepers on each shift Clean, disinfect and store all equipment at the end of the shift Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day Be familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately. Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction. Other duties as assigned by management. Required Skills: Use hands to lift, carry, or pull objects that may be heavy. Understand easy instructions. Learn simple procedures and techniques. Perform routine work or the same task over and over again. Qualifications: High school diploma required Housekeeping experience, an asset Physical Demands Standing/walking for long periods of time Able to lift up to 20 lbs.
