**Posting:** **Evening** **Shift Cleaner** **Location****(s)****:****Good Shepherd** **School** **Hours/Week:** **5** **Hours per** **shift****–****Monday to Friday** **Start Date:****ASAP** **Closing Date:****March** **20****, 2026** **Reference Number:****GS****-****03****16****2026** FORT MCMURRAY CATHOLIC SCHOOLS is accepting applications for an Evening shift cleaner at **Good Shepherd** **School****.** **Job Overview:** Reporting to the Coordinator of Custodial Services, the Cleaner performs cleaning and general maintenance of school interior/exterior, in accordance with established standards; performs daily routine security and safety checks; and performs other duties as assigned – details as per job description. **Duties and Responsibilities:** - General cleaning of assigned building - Clean cafeteria, lunch room, storage areas, utility service areas, furnace rooms and boiler rooms - Clean lighting fixtures and replace light bulbs - Collect and dispose of garbage/litter within building interior and exterior - Perform minor maintenance not requiring a skilled tradesperson - Perform other related duties as assigned **Qualifications:** - One year related work experience - Ability to work independently - Good interpersonal skills The successful candidate will be required to provide a Criminal Reference Check and a Vulnerable Sector Check.
