Contribute your expertise as a Structural Engineer in Fort McMurray, providing essential engineering support to the plant. Work a 10-hour day schedule, four days a week. Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, this role focuses on developing and implementing a robust structural inspection program for various structures, such as pipe racks and overhead cranes. You will ensure inspections are cost-effective and safety-compliant while communicating regularly with Business Unit Teams to understand their engineering needs. Key Responsibilities: • Develop structural inspection programs for brownfield facilities • Assess structures, including conveyors and slurry towers • Communicate engineering support needs with teams • Understand the impact of projects on structural components • Optimize inspection programs to mitigate risks Requirements: • Engineering Degree required, preferably Civil/Structural • Must be a registered skilled engineer in Alberta • Minimum 5 years' experience in operational oil and gas facilities • Familiarity with Alberta OH&S; regulations • Robust communication and problem-solving skills Leverage your structural engineering skills to enhance safety and efficiency at the Fort McMurray plant.
