General Labourer (Fort McMurray)

Job Posting: General Labourer We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer for a shutdown assignment, with 12-hour workdays in a camp-based setting. This role involves physically demanding work in an industrial setting and requires strict adherence to safety procedures. Key Responsibilities - Assist with cleanup and remediation of bitumen spill areas - Perform general labor duties including shovelling, material handling, and site maintenance - Operate basic hand tools and equipment safely - Support site technicians and supervisors as needed - Follow all safety policies, procedures, and site requirements - Maintain a clean and organized work environment Requirements - Previous experience in industrial, construction, or oil sands environments preferred - Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods - Willingness to work long shifts (12 hours) in outdoor conditions - Strong commitment to safety and teamwork - Ability to travel to site and stay in camp for the duration of project Preferred Certifications (Assets) - Fall Protection - Elevated Work Platform - Suncor badge and orientation Here at Primus Workforce, we provide safety-minded, experienced personnel support throughout the oil & gas, construction, technical trades, and other sectors to our clients' long-term and short-term contingency needs.
