Part Time Educational Assistant Needed, North Central Alberta (Slave Lake)

Help foster young minds as a part time Educational Assistant with the Pembina Hills School Division. Your efforts will support kindergarten students' complex needs each school week.

This position is a regular part-time role, emphasizing the importance of supporting students facing behavior difficulties and developmental challenges. Serving primarily on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from August 27, 2026, to June 28, 2027, you'll engage in a collaborative team focused on educational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:• Assist students facing diverse educational challenges • Promote early literacy and numeracy development • Encourage an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere • Collaborate with teachers to enhance educational outcomes • Foster rapport and communication with both students and teachers

Requirements:• Experience working with students with behavioral issues • Knowledge of child development concepts • Ability to work effectively in a team setting • Clear Criminal Record and Intervention Checks required • Relevant first aid qualifications a plus
