Project Controls Lead (Fort McMurray)

Essential Responsibilities - Support project controls functions including scheduling, cost tracking, and forecasting - Assist in maintaining project schedules and tracking progress against milestones - Monitor and report on productivity, earned value, and project performance metrics - Support cost control processes including budgets, commitments, and forecasting - Collaborate with planners, project managers, and field teams to ensure alignment - Identify trends, risks, and variances, and support mitigation strategies - Assist with progress reporting and client deliverables - Maintain accurate project data in systems and reports - Support change management and tracking of scope adjustments - Ensure compliance with project controls procedures and standards Qualifications - Experience in project controls, cost control, or scheduling within industrial construction - Understanding of project lifecycle and turnaround execution - Proficiency with scheduling and cost tools (e.g., Primavera, Excel) - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities - High attention to detail and data accuracy - Strong communication skills with ability to work cross‑functionally - Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment Work Conditions - Site‑based position in Fort McMurray, AB - Rotational schedule supporting a major turnaround project - Day shift and night shift work required - Camp accommodations and travel provided (where applicable) - High‑pressure, schedule‑driven workplace Employment Equity Statement At Ledcor we believe diversity, equity, and inclusion should be part of everything we do.
